Apps Connect Hampton Residents with Local Government

The City of Hampton has announced the release of three new apps that will make it easier than ever to connect with local government.

Residents and visitors can now access Hampton news and events through the Hampton_VA app. The app will also quick link to mobile pages including Parks, Hampton History Museum, City Council, social media channels and emergency alerts.

"Just Snap It, Describe It, Send It"  311 Customer Contact will allow residents to request a service, submit a complaint, request information, report a pothole, high grass, street lights out and many other issues. All photos and videos will be geo-tagged for quick response.

ConnectProtect will connect residents to the Hampton Police Division allowing them to send non-emergency tips, access press releases and follow HPD social media channels. Additionally, Police can use the app to notify users about traffic issues and other breaking news.

Now available in both the Apple App and Google Play stores.
