19th Annual Coliseum Central Holiday Parade Presented by Wynne Ford

Don’t miss Coliseum Central’s annual holiday parade! Every year, the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the Coliseum Central Holiday Parade marches down Coliseum Drive from Sentara CarePlex, through Peninsula Town Center, and ends in the Riverpointe Shopping Center. Santa Claus is also sure to stop by! Pre-Parade entertainment will begin in Peninsula Town Center Town Square at 9:00AM.
Bundle up and bring a chair, there will be plenty of space to set up along Coliseum Drive. Parking will be available in any of our shopping centers located along Coliseum Drive. As you are making your plans, please allow for the for the following road closures:
- Beginning at approximately 5:30AM and lasting until approximately 12:00PM, Hampton Roads Center Parkway will be closed to all through traffic
- At approximately 8:30AM Coliseum Drive, between Hampton Roads Center Parkway and W. Mercury Boulevard will be closed
- Citizens and visitors can continue to access businesses in the Coliseum Central area, but should be aware of the road closings and use alternate routes to travel to their destinations. The N. Armistead entrance of Sentara CarePlex will remain open.

Mayflower Marathon Food Drive | November 17-19th | Coliseum Marketplace
Drop by and make a donation after the Coliseum Central Holiday Parade!
The 21st Annual Mayflower Marathon Food Drive presented by Bud's Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning will take place November 17-19th located in Coliseum Marketplace next to BB&T on Coliseum Drive. Your favorite on-air personalities from 106.9 The Fox and FM99 will be broadcasting from the Mayflower Marathon, collecting food and funds to provide the gift of a meal this holiday season for the thousands of individuals who struggle with hunger across the Greater Peninsula and Hampton Roads. This 57 1/2 hour food drive makes giving easy—simply drive through and donate. Volunteers will be on-site around the clock to collect your donations.
Donations can also be made by purchasing a $5 food bag from any Farm Fresh Supermarket. The generosity from our community changes lives and makes things a little brighter during the holiday season.
