Grand Opening of the Orthopaedic Hospital at Sentara CarePlex

A reception was held on June 30th to celebrate the July 5th opening of the Orthopaedic Hospital at Sentara CarePlex. The facility is the area’s first dedicated orthopaedic hospital. Mayor Ward and Debra Flores, administrator of Sentara CarePlex, were in attendance to recognize this special achievement.

The hospital features specialized orthopedic operating and procedure rooms, board-certified fellowship trained orthopedic surgeons and nurses, full rehabilitation gym on the recovery floor and other services and features.
